Silver Encrusted Flintlock Blunderbuss Folding Trigger Pocket Pistols
Adorned with gleaming silver and encrusted with natural precious stones, this extraordinary pair of blunderbuss pistols is a true masterpiece. Each intricate barnacle is sculpted by hand from solid silver, some cradle genuine pearls and sapphires —meticulously set by the legendary jeweler Cornelius “Peg Leg” of Amici Gold.
Presented as a matched set in a handcrafted treasure chest, this remarkable creation draws inspiration from Captain Bligh’s fascination with pirates and his deep obsession with nautical history. Lift the lid, and you’re instantly transported to the 1700s—a time when the high seas teemed with ruthless buccaneers, their chests brimming with stolen riches and formidable weaponry.
Specs: .60 Caliber, 3 1/2" flared barrels with good, lightly freckled bores. This is a great looking pair of all-brass, fixed barrel, folding trigger pistols with British style martial panoply engraving on the sides of the box frames. No proof or maker’s marks are visible on either pistol. Estimated to have been made in late 1700’s to early 1800's in Britain.
